Five people, one coachSmall group personal training in Sutton Coldfield
Your own plan and your own weights, in a group small enough that the coach is watching you.
More Life Coaching is a small group personal training studio in Sutton Coldfield. You train alongside a handful of other members with a coach who knows your plan, your history and what you lifted last week.
It is not a circuit class and it is not a room full of people copying the instructor. Each person follows their own programme at their own weights. The coach moves between you, correcting form, adjusting an exercise when something does not feel right and moving you on when you are ready. We coach at five people to one coach, which is the closest thing to one to one training without the one to one price.
Sessions are built around strength training, because building muscle is what changes your shape, protects your joints and keeps weight off once it is gone. Programmes are refreshed regularly and include testing weeks, so you can see in numbers that you are getting stronger.
Training is only part of it. Alongside your sessions we build simple nutrition habits, with clear targets rather than a list of banned foods, and we check in with you between sessions. You also get our coaching app, where your workouts and progress live in one place.
Everything happens in our own private studio on Reddicap Trading Estate. There is no crowded gym floor to walk across and nobody waiting for your rack. Members are all ages, including some in their sixties, and many had either never trained or had not trained for years when they started.
Every new member begins the same way: a free call to talk through your goals, then a 30 minute induction where we look at how you move and set clear targets. Only then do you book your first session.
What you getThree things, done properly
Most people do not need more information. They need structure and someone in their corner.
1Strength training
Coached sessions that build muscle and improve your shape, with every exercise adapted to your ability.
2Simple nutrition
No banned foods and no strict diet. A few habits and clear targets that fit around work and family.
3Accountability
Your sessions are booked in and we check in between them, so a bad week does not turn into a lost month.

How it startsThree steps, no pressure
You do not need to be fit first, and you do not need to know what you are doing. That is our job.

What members say
“I started out as a complete beginner with absolutely no knowledge or confidence in the gym, but Scott and Helena have been so patient, supportive and genuinely amazing every step of the way!”
Katie Ledwith, December 2025
“Cannot praise the PTs enough!! Attention to detail, one to one approach in a class of mixed abilities and results in a few weeks. If you’re putting off joining a gym - come to these guys first.”
Sandra Nicholson, July 2026
“I loved running and cycling but hated the gym, a real fear of being around the muscle men. At More Life those fears are none existent!”
Jim Hart, August 2026
Small group training questions
Something else on your mind? Ask it on WhatsApp and a real person will answer.
Ask your own questionIs small group training still personal?
Yes. Groups are kept small so the coach can work with each person individually, adjust exercises on the spot and track your progress session by session.
Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. Plenty of our members joined as complete beginners. The 30 minute induction shows us where you are starting from, so we never ask you to do something you are not ready for.
I have an old injury. Can I still train?
In most cases, yes. Tell us on your free call and we will look at it properly in your induction, then build your sessions around it. Members have trained with us after surgery and long layoffs.
How many times a week will I train?
That is agreed with you on your free call, based on your goal and your week. Sessions run through the day from 7am, Monday to Friday.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many sessions a week suit you. Message us on WhatsApp and we will send you the current prices today.
